The short version: Billo prices the finished video and keeps its fee inside it. Insense charges for access to the marketplace, then adds a fee to what you pay creators, so it only starts to make sense at steady volume.
How Insense pricing works
Insense sells access by subscription. The Trial costs 650 USD for one month and allows one campaign and up to 10 creators, then moves to the Brand plan billed quarterly unless you cancel 48 hours before it ends. The Brand plan is 500 USD per month billed quarterly or 400 USD per month billed annually. The Agency plan is 800 USD per month, or 640 USD billed annually, and covers five brands. Creator payments are separate. Insense's FAQ says UGC campaigns start at 100 USD per video, and a transaction fee is added to every payment: 20 percent on Trial, 10 percent on Brand and 7 percent on Agency. Our full breakdown is in Insense pricing.
How Billo pricing works
Billo sells prepaid packs that load money onto your balance. Videos start at 99 USD, and the final price rises with video length, extra aspect ratios, Premium creators, extra hooks or variations and extra footage. The balance stays valid for 12 months and does not renew on its own. Billo does not publish pack sizes, so you see exact amounts only after signing up. Full usage rights apply once you approve a video. Billo also sells a managed service if you want someone else to run the whole program. Our Billo alternatives post lists the cheaper and the more hands on options.
What 10 UGC videos cost on Insense vs Billo
Here is a first order of 10 videos for one product. The Billo line uses its published starting price. The Insense lines use the 100 USD starting creator rate from its FAQ. Those are floor prices, so swap in the rates you are quoted.
| Cost line | Billo | Insense Brand (quarterly) | Insense Brand (annual) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subscription for 3 months | 0 USD | 1,500 USD | 1,200 USD |
| 10 videos | 990 USD | 1,000 USD | 1,000 USD |
| Marketplace fee | Included | 100 USD | 100 USD |
| Total before product and extras | 990 USD | 2,600 USD | 2,300 USD |
| Cost per video | 99 USD | 260 USD | 230 USD |
The gap shrinks as you buy more. At 30 videos a quarter the Insense Brand plan lands near 4,800 USD, or about 160 USD per video, because the subscription is spread over more content. Even so, at floor prices Billo stays cheaper per video. Insense wins on other things, not on the lowest sticker price.
Where Insense beats Billo
- Creators apply to your campaign and you review applications before you choose who films.
- Product seeding campaigns have no creator fee, which suits brands that pay creators in product.
- Plans include Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads connections, so you can run ads from the creator's handle.
- Agencies can manage up to five brands on one plan.
Where Billo beats Insense
- No subscription, so a single order does not carry a 1,500 USD quarterly commitment.
- One price per finished video with the platform fee inside it, easier to forecast.
- A managed service for brands that do not want to manage creators.
- Full usage rights stated in the price of the video.
Pick Insense or Billo by how often you buy
- Pick Billo if you want 5 to 20 ad ready videos this quarter, you do not have someone to manage creators, and you want to know the cost before you start.
- Pick Insense if you run campaigns every month, want to approve creators one by one, send content straight to Meta and TikTok ad accounts, or manage several brands as an agency.
- Pick a managed agency if you spend enough on ads that creative fatigue drives your costs and you need new hooks every month. Beauty brands should start with our beauty UGC agency list, app teams with app UGC agencies, and software companies with SaaS UGC agencies.
- Compare a third option first if your shortlist also includes JoinBrands, which we priced against Billo in Billo vs JoinBrands.
